Does anyone know if these USTDC lighters were presented by TDC, maybe as a going-away gift, or were they sold in the Navy Exchange or by local merchants?Many of us smoked in those days but this lighter looks like it was used very little, if at all. I don't recall ever seeing one during my tour.
I never saw one, if I had I would've bought it had been for sale. I think that all the commanders of TDC were Vice Admirals ...3 stars.
