I was one of those that benefited...Thanks you Gene. I was one of those that benefited from your work. I married in Nov '62 and had no problem with my wife having privileges, never the less they tried hard to discourage marriages.<BR/>I had to do a ton of paper work in-order to marry.<BR/>Background investigations agreements to support my wife You know how much of a hassle it was.<BR/>I even had one officer call her a name and saying you don't want to marry a ------ (I won't repeat the name)<BR/>One day I will have to count the documents that I had to submit. I have a whole folder full.<BR/>The first Chaplin I saw also tried to discourage me by saying that "they" were Heathens etc.<BR/>I told him I wanted to see the other Chaplin and he tried to deny that too. <BR/>The other Chaplin did not mention anything bad.
